A 10-mile ride along lanes and bridleways in the Yorkshire Wolds. The route includes a lovely gated road, the pretty village of Thixendale - where we stop for a drink at the pub - distant views towards the North York Moors and Pennines (weather permitting!), and some fascinating 'land sculptures'. The ride is hilly and includes some good canters, so your horse needs to be fit. Led by Janet Cochrane, start time 10.30, group size up to 6, entry fee £40 (includes refreshments).
