The heather should be in full bloom for this 10-mile ride, whcih starts at the Lion Inn, high on Blakey Ridge. Heading down into Rosedale and along the bridleway and quiet lane to the White Horse Pub at the bottom of Chimney Bank, we enjoy a drink there before returning up Chimney Bank and back along the former railway line to Blakey. There are some steep hills and rough tracks on this ride, so your horse needs to be fit. Led by Pip Mead, max group size 5 people, entry fee �40.
