Starting at Moor Farm, in the foothills of the Yorkshire Wolds, we ride out along quiet lanes with wide verges around the Western Wolds, with wonderful views towards the Vale of York. We pass through the pretty estate village of Londesborough, and include one stretch of bridleway. The ride is 10 miles, starts at 10am, and is led by Janet Cochrane and Carole Johnston. There will be some cantering if ground conditions permit, but either way, your horses will get a great workout as the ride is hilly! After the ride we'll enjoy tea/coffee & homemade cakes back at Moor Farm, provided by Carole Johnston (renowned for her excellent cakes!). The proceeds of the refreshments go to St. Leonard's Hospice, York. Entry fee �40 to include refreshments. Please contact us for entries.
