This training day is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to improve their depth of schooling and training knowledge, and is also beneficial for anyone considering, studying or training people towards industry exams. The day is also accredited as 6 CPD points for all BHS accredited coaches. Whilst a fantastic training day for coaches, this training day is also a brilliant opportunity for riders and owners looking to further their own training knowledge. The day will be informative and interactive, with plenty of opportunity for questions and to discuss what we observe. The focus of the day is on pole work and exercises for education, training and competing. Programme: 9.30am Register & Tea/Coffee 10am Introduction to the day 10.15am FLATWORK - Looking at how to effectively use techniques to develop the correct way of going. 10.45am POLEWORK FOR GROUNDWORK - Looking at how to effectively use poles to improve groundwork techniques and help improve rhythm and suppleness to develop a powerful, forward going horse in balance. 11.30am ASSESSING NEW COMBINATIONS � A step by step run through and analysis of new riders and horses, making plans and adapting to circumstances in a short period of time to gain the most from a session. 1pm LUNCH � There will be a catering van available for the purchase of hot and cold food and drinks. 2.00pm COURSE JUMPING � moving the mornings exercises on to course jumping, looking at the simplicity of gaining clear rounds! 3.00pm COMMON MISTAKES IN THE JUMP OFF � how to avoid the pitfalls of faults in the jump off. 3.30pm Q&A Session 4pm FINISH Instructions There will be a catering van on site with hot and cold food and drinks available to purchase.
