The route goes through the atmospheric woods and moors north of Helmsley and towards Rievaulx Abbey, which you should catch glimpses of. The ride is led by Mel Mellor and Bill Tait and is 7 miles long and includes bridleways and some quiet lanes. The route is fairly hilly, and we'll try and have a canter or two if ground conditions permit. The pace will be at Walk and Trot. Start time 10am, entry fee �32, max group size 5 people.
