Jackie Mawson is leading a scenic ride through the varied countryside to the north of Pickering, riding through Cropton Forest and along lanes and tracks through the surrounding farmland. The route is about 10 miles, and the terrain is fairly hilly. You'll pass near Cawthorne Camp, which 2000 years ago was an important staging post for the Romans' ventures further north. Entry fee �32, start time 10am. Max 5 riders. Please contact us for entry details.
