A beautiful and varied ride with Jackie Mawson in the southern part of the National Park. The route is just 7 miles long and at walk & trot. Your horse needs to be confident walking through water as there's a small river to ford. Passing 11th century St Gregory's Minster with its ancient sundial, we follow Hodge Beck, where 'the Hyenas' Den' was found, a cave where fossils of animals now found only in Africa were discovered.
