A glorious 10-mile ride over moorland into remote Baysdale, past the former Baysdale Abbey, and towards Westerdale. This is true moorland riding which is steep and rugged in places so your horse needs to be fairly fit, although most of the ride is at walk, with occasional steady trotting or a short canter where possible, so we can enjoy the scenery. The ride is led by Bill Tait and Mel Mellor. Start time 10 am, entry fee �32. Max group size: 5 people. We will stop for a picnic during the ride if the weather permits (bring your own snacks).
