We are holding dressage only classes Intro & Prelim, alongside the Express Eventing.
What is Express Eventing?
Prior to the event you will be given your times for each phase.
First you do your dressage test, there will be time to change into your SJ/Express Eventing attire (see dress code below).
You do a round of show jumps.
Then you head to the start box and do a jump cross round - Knock down Show jumps and cross country style fences.
Scoring is similar to BE.
Dress code/Turnout.
You do not have to plait but we like to see smart turnout.
Hats to the current standard (without fixed peak) they must be worn and fastened correctly.
Jodphurs can be of any colour
Long sleeved tops to be worn for jumping phases
You MUST tie you hair up so your bib number is clearly visible.
Correct riding foot wear no muck boots or trainers.
We advise a correctly fitting body/back protector for the jump cross phase.
Boots are permitted for horses in the jumping phases, not for dressage.
Dressage legal bits for the dressage phase, any suitable bit for the jumping phases. If in any doubt please look at the British Dressage page/rules.
*The FALL or HORSE OR RIDER will result in elimination, Under NO circumstances should anyone remount without permission of the first aid on site.*
First aid is covered in the entry price.
Reduced entry fees for 2023 CRC members. Only CRC members are eligible for end of season trophies, providing they have earned their helping out points this season.
Bib Deposit �10 refundable.
CLOSING DATE 8 days before the event (2/9/23)
We aim Times will be posted the Wednesday before the event.
