New for 2021, local rider Jackie Mawson leads us on a glorious 12-mile ride with long canters in the hills, forest and moorland of Newtondale, just to the north of Pickering. After walking down to the Heritage Railway Line, which we cross at Farwath and work our way gradually up the hillside to the top of the moor, with a 'photo opportunity' at the wonderful ruined Skelton Tower. Returning downhill, we stop for a drink at the Horseshoe in Pickering, and continue back to Farwath and our parking place. Entry fee �32, including a drink. Start time 10am. Max 5 riders.
