Additional Event Information
Join us for the first Wessex Ride of the season!
All are welcome at this event, run by the Wessex branch of Endurance GB. This is a Pleasure Ride & Training Ride only, so there is no compulsory pre-ride or post-ride vetting.
The majority of the ride is off road in Stourhead Woods. The tracks are quite firm and not likely to be very muddy. There are some places where it is possible to canter but this is not a fast grassy ride with lots of galloping! The route will be clearly marked with orange tape, signs and there will be stewards out on course.
* There are NO jumps *
Start times will be issued closer to the time, classes will be allocated block start times.
Last rider to be back at the venue by 3pm at the very latest.
Entries are limited by parking space at the venue, so please enter early to avoid disappointment.

(1) - 32km (Members Only Training Ride)
(2) - 12.5 miles (20km)
(3) - 4.3 miles (7km)
Rosettes for all who complete the ride.

(1) - Members Only 32km Training Ride - �16
(2) - Non-members - �24* - EGB Members - �16
(3) - Non-members - �20 - EGB Members - �10
* Non-members entry fee includes temporary day membership of Endurance GB for insurance purposes
Riders aged 12 and under must have an adult escort.
All horses must have up to date flu vaccine in line with EGB rules. Copies / photos to be sent with entry to
[email protected] and documents shown in the office on the day before unloading. Horses must have up to date annual flu vaccs for the last four years or have restarted the course within this time period. Dates with be checked against copy of vaccine page.
