This is a new Walk & Trot ride for this year. Starting in the pretty village of Warter, we follow lanes and bridleways in the Yorkshire Wolds at a gentle pace, with classic views of beautiful valleys and - we hope! - the impressive forms of Red Kites soaring over the fields and hills. The route is around 5.5 miles long and is perfect if you or your horse are not yet used to hacking out. Led by Janet Cochrane. Max. group size 6, entry fee �30, to include light refreshments after the ride. Starts 10 am. Contact organiser for further details and entry form. NB. about three-quarters of the route is on quiet country lanes, with one short section near the start which can be slightly busier. Please ask if in doubt.
