Dr. Gerd Heuschmann, rider, trainer, veterinarian and author of 'Tug of War' and 'Balancing Act', will be teaching a series of individual lessons. Where time allows he may present some lectures.
He is very approachable and keen to pass on the knowledge he has gained from his extensive studies of different riding schools and biomechanics. Bring a notebook to make a note of the many references that he gives so you can do further research yourself.
As one of the original campaigners against the use of 'Rolkur', he is very interested in training horses for long term soundness and the avoidance of 'kissing spine', suspensory issues and navicular.
