Biomechanics Rider Analysis with Centaur Biomechanics The way the rider sits on the horse will have a dramatic effect on its soundness, performance and development. Our rider analysis sessions are designed for riders of all levels to help improve the rider's position and horse's way of going. With the use of high speed video cameras (capturing 20 x faster than the human eye), Visualise training jackets and Quintic software the rider's position and horse's way of going can be constructively analysed. Rosie, who carries out the analysis, is a keen rider herself and has worked all over the world helping riders improve their position and horse's performance. Rosies passion and easy going character will put you at ease and ensure you get the best possible results out of the session. What should I wear? Riders should wear light breeches, long boots, gloves and a correctly fitted hat. Riders will be asked to wear a Visualise Training Jacket which helps highlight positional weaknesses. Please ensure hair is tied up or a hair net is used. What do riders get to take home from the session? All riders will receive a written feedback form. Riders are welcome to bring a USB stick which they can use to obtain the videos. Alternatively riders can buy a CD/DVD for 5. This has to be arranged on the day, directly with Centaur Biomechanics. There will be a questionnaire that riders are asked to complete, this will assist Rosie to help you get the maximum benefit from your session. Can I bring my trainer, Physio, saddler? We welcome a team approach 70 for a 45 minute private slot. Morning will be flatwork and the afternoon will be jumping analysis. Please state which session you require when you book, flat or jump, and also any time preferences, ie early. However please note jumping sessions will be the last sessions of the day. Times will be confirmed by email approx 2 weeks before the sessions.
