Young Riders First Aid Training Course
Medi-K believes that first aid is a key life skill which everyone should know and wants all young riders to have some simple first aid skills so they can take positive action if faced with a first aid emergency.
By learning some basic first aid, people will know how to deal with a range of situations � from minor cuts to serious injuries � and have the confidence to deal with emergencies.
Our course is aimed at 8 to 14 year olds teaching them to stay calm and check the area is safe, think before they do anything, talk to the person they are helping and look for an adult to help.
COURSE CONTENT:
Action in an emergency
Assessing an incident.
CPR
Recovery position
Choking
Wound management
DURATION
This course consists of 3 hours of both theoretical and practical activities.
CERTIFICATION
All participants will receive training by experienced instructors. On successful completion of this course all participants receive a certificate of attendance, manual and a rosette.
