Nerve-busting Sport Psychology Workshop
Do certain riding activities make you feel like a bundle of nerves? Or, do you find it hard to replicate training performances at competitions or when it matters?
We all have a comfort zone, and stepping outside of that can feel daunting: whether thats hacking a new route or competing over a bigger jumping track. We can all relate to the physical and mental experience of nerves such as butterflies in the tummy or worrying about the worst-case-scenario. And, if we arent mentally prepared for a new challenge, these nerves can hold us back, or transfer to our horse negatively influencing our riding performance and enjoyment.
This 2 hour unmounted workshop for equestrians will help you to understand how the brain reacts to stepping outside of your comfort zone. Youll learn tools that will enable you to confidently stretch yourself, and to view this stretch as a positive challenge, rather than a negative stress. You will leave this workshop with developed self-awareness, and a plan of how to take on new challenges with a clear, calm, and positive mindset.
