Guided ride with Bill Tait, 13 miles, starting in the secluded valley of Kirkdale. Stopping at 11th century St Gregory's Minster to see the famous medieval sundial, you also hear the story of the nearby Hyena's Cave! The route follows Hodge Beck to Sleightholme Dale and on to Gillamoor, where we stop for a drink at the pub. Then, following the Shepherds' Road bridleway we return via Kirkbymoorside to Kirkdale. This route includes river crossings if water levels are safe. Max. 5 people. Cost: �30. Please contact us for booking form.
